2. Overview

H-Sensortechnik GmbH („we“, „us“, or „our“) operates the SensorManager
Android application (the „App“). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we
collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights in connection with that data.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable Austrian and EU data
protection laws.

3. Data We Collect

The App collects the following data:

• GPS / Location Coordinates – The App records GPS coordinates
  (latitude and longitude) of the device during active measurement sessions.

We do not collect names, e-mail addresses, payment information, or any
other personal identifiers beyond the location data described above.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

GPS coordinates are collected solely to geo-tag measurement data recorded
by optical belt scales connected via the SensorManager App. The paired data (measurement
value + GPS position) is transmitted to the SensorTrack platform so that
the exact position of the belt scale can be displayed on a map.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR
(performance of a contract / provision of the requested service) and, where applicable,
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing accurate
geo-referenced sensor data to our customers).

5. Data Retention

Collected GPS coordinates are stored in a secure database and are
automatically and permanently deleted after 24 months
from the date of recording. No manual intervention is required; deletion is enforced
automatically by the system.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

GPS coordinates are transmitted exclusively to the SensorTrack platform
operated by H-Sensortechnik GmbH. We do not sell, rent, or share your
location data with any unaffiliated third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.

7. Data Security

All data is transmitted using encryption and stored on
secured servers. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. We implement
appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized
access, loss, or destruction.

8. Permissions Used by the App

The App requests the following Android permissions related to location:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION – to obtain precise GPS coordinates during measurement.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION – fallback for network-based positioning.
• ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION – to continue recording GPS coordinates
  while the App runs in the background during an active measurement session.

These permissions are used exclusively for the purpose described in Section 4.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect
data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please
contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this
page with an updated „Last updated“ date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
